The Perfect Sweetheart

The Perfect Sweetheart

She was good. So very good that people didn’t understand her. She achieved things nobody had. She got praised. Appreciation was the easiest thing to get for her, but deep inside she wished people to know she wasn’t made of steel. She wasn’t perfect. She didn’t want people to not condemn her imperfection just because they wore a mask which said she was perfect. She wanted people to treat her like a normal human being. She used to fail, but people hardly knew she was perfect enough to handle her imperfections. Tragedy of life, when she failed bad, people thought she was shattered while in reality, she wasn’t. All they had for her was sympathy she didn’t need. Then she realized people weren’t treating her as if she is made out of steel anymore. Suddenly she found out she has already turned out to be made of steel. She no more chooses emotions; she, the perfect sweetheart, now chooses to be emotionless because she is perfect enough to know emotions are the most imperfect things that ever existed.
